The Ace Dog Trainer (Ace Dog Training) is a dog training center and sports complex at 4887 SW Cherokee Street in Palm City, created by Debra Nagler. Facilities include a covered arena for agility and classes, dock diving, pond play, a large fenced off-leash area and a boarding kennel. Debra has trained and consulted for rescue groups including Safe Harbor and Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and focuses on helping owners build a relationship that says "Trust me, Follow me" in a way dogs understand.

Obedience options

Training starts with an evaluation of about half an hour, then a 1.5 to 2 hour foundation and behavior consult where owners learn behavior principles, leadership and how to use fitted training tools. Lesson packages come in four, six or nine lessons and can be spread out over time. An impulse control class (4 weeks, 6 dogs max) is for intermediate to advanced students. The one-week Basic Inboard Training Program and a 4-week full in-kennel course are board-and-train options, with one-day stays for dogs that already have some training.

Sports

Agility runs from beginner to advanced for dogs of all sizes, and dock diving welcomes novices and serious competitors, with memberships available.
