The Boozy Bark is a female-owned San Marcos dog business at 500 Broadway Street, off I-35 and Hwy 123, minutes from downtown and Texas State. It offers daycare, play-based boarding, training, light grooming, a BYOB dog park and a retail store focused on canine enrichment, and it is fully licensed through the City of San Marcos.

Training

The Boozy Bark sees training as a lifelong journey that bonds owner and dog, and offers positive reinforcement training and behavior modification. Private lessons are held with the owner present: 30 minutes for $60, 45 minutes for $90 and 60 minutes for $120, with discount packages and 10% off for foster dogs. A 30-minute enrichment walk during daycare costs $30, outside of summer.

Daycare and boarding

Daycare is $33 a day, or $297 for 10 days, and boarding is $43 a night with daycare included. Dogs play in groups by size and temperament in 2 covered yards after a Play Day Evaluation. Weekday daycare and boarding hours are 7 am to 7 pm. Call 512.620.1291.
