About The Canine Culture
About
The Canine Culture on Highway 99 north of Stockton offers dog training alongside boarding, daycare and grooming. Its staff has more than 40 years of experience training dogs for companionship and obedience competition, and can teach you to train your dog or do it for you.
Training
Training uses positive reinforcement and starts with basic obedience and a proper human-canine relationship. Private one-on-one lessons suit puppies under 16 weeks and dogs that need advanced work such as off-leash, out-of-sight stays and hand signals. Group classes run as seven-week sessions, the first class being an orientation without dogs, and board and train options include a two-week basic course and a four-week foundational obedience course. Sessions are held in a climate-controlled training hall or outside, weather permitting.
