About The Guiding Leash Dog Training and Behavior Solutions, LLC.

The Guiding Leash Dog Training and Behavior Solutions is a Mount Kisco business serving the greater Westchester area. Its owner and head trainer is Tim Cohen, who has worked with dogs since 2014 and describes himself as a certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist.

Background

Tim graduated from the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers in 2016 and was then selected for a competitive internship there, working alongside Starmark instructors and helping students train. The site says he has trained dogs in competitive obedience, agility, service tasks and narcotics detection, and now applies that to pet dog owners.

Who it is for

The published range is deliberately broad: a new puppy, an adult dog whose recall falls apart off-leash, or an owner laying the groundwork for public access work with a potential service dog. The site states it works with all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments.

Format

Alongside in-person programs there is a virtual training option. Published hours are 8am to 7pm, seven days a week, and the first step is a consultation.

A note on the address

The website footer types the town as Lagrangeville while carrying the Mount Kisco zip code 10549, which is also where the business is listed. Confirm the meeting location when you book.
