What they offer

The Tail Wagger's Club, based in Woodinville, offers private training in your home and a doggy boarding school. Its motto is to teach the human and train the dog, working on behaviors such as calm greetings at the door, friendly introductions on walks, waiting in the car and coming when called.

Approach and background

Owner Florence Bernhard writes that she has researched animal learning and behavior for over twenty years and has consulted for a service dog training agency. Training is positive and science-based, and she never uses shock collars, choke chains or prong collars.
