The Traveling Hounds is a dog training business on Spectrum Drive in San Antonio, trusted since 2012 and led by trainer Jeremiah. Its mission is to help owners and dogs build a stronger bond through structure, guidance and trust, and it coaches owners as much as it trains dogs.

The trainer

Jeremiah graduated from a clicker training academy, worked as a trainer at Petco and became a regional trainer, later attended Starmark Academy and completed the NePoPo Silver program. He has trained protection dogs, graduated from the Deadpool Decoy School and earned certification as an AKC evaluator.

Programs and prices

Board and train runs 2 weeks ($2500), 3 weeks ($3350) or 4 weeks ($4000). Day School, with daily training and weekly group classes, runs 1 to 4 weeks ($700-$2500). Private lessons cost $125 at the facility or $175 at the client's location, with 6-packs available. Group classes include Puppy, Trick Dog, Confident Canines ($200 each) and Reactive Rover ($250). The business also offers scent detection, therapy dog and service dog training.
