Timber & Co. is a Salem dog training, daycare and boarding business specializing in force-free training for puppies and reactive, aggressive or anxious dogs. Founder Kyra started after rehabilitating her dog Timber, who had significant reactivity and separation anxiety. She is a CPDT-KA, a certified Family Dog Mediator and an AKC evaluator, completed the Master Course in Aggression in 2023 and did a six-month apprenticeship with Dogs Unleashed. The team also works extensively with Siberian huskies, German shepherds and other working breeds. Timber & Co. serves Salem, Dallas, Keizer and areas within 45 minutes of Salem.

Programs and prices

Options include private lessons in the owner's home, hybrid training, board and trains, and day school. Consultations are free by phone or $80 in person. Private training is $150 per lesson with a four-lesson minimum ($600), or $175 pay-as-you-go for approved clients, and payment plans are available. Daycare and boarding take place at a private residential retreat.
