About Town House For Dogs & Cats

Daycare, boarding and training in Westport

TownHouse for Dogs & Cats is a multiservice pet care center at 1040 Post Rd E in Westport, right off I-95. It covers daycare, dog boarding, grooming, training and enrichment, cat boarding and more. Longtime owners Mel and Sandy Goldman retired in 2023, leaving the business with Angela Pantalone, the founder and owner of Wag Central in Stratford. The facility features dog-safe turf, epoxy flooring, fresh air HVAC systems and veterinary-grade cleaning products.

Training approach

The teaching philosophy is to set pups and their people up to succeed "in a positive, rewarding manner." Training Tuesday, offered during daycare or boarding for an additional fee, pairs a dog one-on-one with a trainer on a specific command or skill, with the focus changing weekly. Private one-on-one training and consults are available for owners with a specific issue to work on.

Getting started

Services require completed paperwork, proof of vaccinations and a Meet & Greet, and the concierge helps new clients set up local licensing.
