Train My Dogs is a positive dog training, daycare and boarding business in Austin, with its facility at 910 W Mary St in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood, just south of Barton Springs Rd. Its trainers use modern positive reinforcement, teaching wanted behaviors and interrupting unwanted ones without intimidation, physical punishment, squirt bottles, shaker cans or other startle effects.

Training programs

Private lessons teach the whole family in their own home or neighborhood, with virtual options. Canine Coaching has the trainer work directly with the dog from the owner's home. The two-week Board & Train runs at the Train My Dogs facility with a plan built around the owner's goals, and an In-Home Board & Train places the dog in a trainer's home for pets who would be less comfortable in a facility. Play & Train adds training to daycare days, and group classes are offered too. Boarding guests join the supervised daycare, with a staff member on-site overnight.

The head trainer

Head trainer Jeannette earned her training certification from Animal Behavior College in 2008. She enjoys helping families with new children or new dogs, and has a special interest in helping shy dogs overcome their fears. A sister location, Onion Creek Kennels in Buda, offers boarding and grooming.
