About Train Wise

Clicker training in Clermont

Train Wise is a Clermont positive reinforcement training and pet care business that has trained local pets and families for almost 10 years. Its trainer, Maudlin, started with a service dog organization about 8 years ago and graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy as a Certified Training Partner in 2023. Her other credentials include AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Evaluator, AKC Fit Dog Instructor Level 3, AKC Farm Dog Judge, AKC Temperament Test Evaluator and Pet Tech CPR & First Aid.

Method

Training is primarily clicker training and positive reinforcement: marking desirable behavior and rewarding it. Train Wise uses the same approach with reactive and aggressive dogs, and works with many species, breeds and ages, including puppies in private and group sessions.
