About Feather and Fur Academy

From theme parks to family pets

Feather and Fur Academy is a Clermont training business for dogs and birds, led by founder and head trainer Jennifer Mohr. A born-and-raised Floridian, she has worked at Universal Studios, Busch Gardens and Sea World, trained animal actors for productions including Disney's Lady & The Tramp and Clifford the Big Red Dog, and works with rescues and shelters to help animals with behavior challenges find homes.

Dog training

Customized plans cover basic obedience, puppy manners, behavior modification and confidence building, with socialization and enrichment built in. The academy describes its approach as positive and relationship-focused, and Board & Train spots are open.

Birds and more

Bird training is Jennifer's passion, from basic obedience and problem behaviors to confident flight. The academy also offers boarding, animals for hire, dove releases and portraits.
