About Triple Threat K-9

Triple Threat K-9 is a veteran-owned trainer in Baltimore, OH, led by retired U.S. Air Force Military Working Dog Kennel Master Bryan Dell — a standout for protection, detection, and working-dog training.

How they train

The approach is personalized and owner-educating: Bryan teaches you the canine psychology and technique so the dog doesn't stay dependent on the trainer. Their board-and-train has a distinctive twist — dogs don't sit in commercial kennels, they live with staff at private residences "as family," which suits owners uneasy about boarding.

Programs

For everyday owners: private in-home obedience and behavior modification, and small group courses (capped at 10 dogs, not for aggressive or severe-behavior dogs). The specialized side is the differentiator — personal/property protection (evaluation required for outside dogs), multi-odor detection, a professional K-9 handler course with lifetime consultation, advanced patrol and tracking, and decoy/seminar instruction.

Experience & credentials

Bryan Dell is a retired USAF Military Working Dog Kennel Master with nearly 20 years of experience and certifications as both trainer and K-9 handler, having worked at federal, state, local, and private levels. Baltimore, OH · 614-427-3995 ·

Who it’s best for

Best for owners with working goals — protection, detection, handler careers — or anyone wanting military-grade structure and a board-and-train where their dog is treated like family; also solid for serious private obedience/behavior work. Less of a fit for a casual group puppy class or a purely force-free approach.

Bryan is a professional dog trainer who did an outstanding job with our new dog. She completed a two week board and train program and came home noticeably more focused and reliable in all aspects of obedience. Shortly after the training, we stayed with family for the holidays, and she did fantastic. She behaved well in their home, interacted appropriately with their dogs and new people, and stayed close to us on their unfenced property. We could not be happier with the results.

I boarded my recent rescue dog with trainer Emmie for training while I went home for thanksgiving. When I returned I had a different dog. She had previously struggled with extreme reactivity, pulling on the leash, and fear aggression/reactivity towards horses. Living on a farm, this was not ideal. After training with Emmie, she will willing walk into the barn, and walk up and down the aisle way full of horses without a peep. I was truly astonished more and more each day with Emmie’s updates! With Emmie’s help, I am now a much more confident handler and bonding with my dog more than ever! I will forever recommend TTK9 as well as trainer Emmie!

We are so happy with our 2-week board and train experience! Our chocolate lab puppy Jax came home more confident, well-mannered, and responsive to commands. We are grateful for the care and training Jax received. Highly recommend! 🐾💙
