About Wag Central

Multiservice dog care in Stratford

Wag Central is a multiservice dog care center at 80 Hathaway Dr. in Stratford, right off I-95, covering boarding, daycare, grooming, training, swimming, agility enrichment, photoshoots and more. It was founded by Angela Pantalone, who also owns TownHouse for Dogs & Cats in Westport. Proof of vaccinations, a Personality Profile and local licensing are required for all dogs, and the concierge helps new clients get set up.

Wag University

Training runs under the Wag University name. Classes are small, trainers take the size and breed of each dog into account, and the teaching philosophy is to set pups and their people up to succeed "in a positive, rewarding manner." The aim is a relationship built on trust and open communication. Group formats have included Basic Wag, an Agility Class and a 90-minute cram session with trainer Darcy, each capped at a maximum of 6 pups or families. Private one-on-one training and consults are available for owners with a specific issue to work on.
