About Whitewater Retrievers

Gun dog and obedience training in Dover

Whitewater Retrievers is a boarding, breeding and training center in Dover, near Rochester, founded by champion gun dog trainer Rob Ramer. The business credits Rob with 20 years of competing, including with his multi-time champion Lab, Cash, and says he sired pups that became master hunters, bird dog champions and bomb-sniffing dogs. The facility has purpose-built kennels and 20 acres of hunting land.

Training

Gun dog training aims to produce a reliable hunting companion. Obedience training helps pets with pulling, barking, poor recall and aggression toward other dogs, for hunting dogs and family pets of all ages.

Boarding and breeding

Boarding offers a clean, safe environment while owners travel, and Whitewater also offers Labrador puppies and stud service. Drop-off and pickup run daily in morning and afternoon windows.
