Willful Dogs is the West Los Angeles training and behavior consulting practice of Sean Miller. Its services are behavior consulting, day training, coaching lessons and dog walking, combined into programs after an initial consultation.

Services

Behavior consulting is in-depth planning and coaching for moderate to severe problems such as leash reactivity, over-arousal, nuisance barking and resource guarding. For day training, the trainer comes to the owner's house during the week to work with the dog. Coaching lessons, in person or virtual, teach owners to manage, train and handle their dog. Walks are offered for impulsive, reactive or fearful dogs.

Approach

The practice uses science-based, positive reinforcement methods with treats, toys and praise, and looks for the cause of a behavior rather than only the symptom. A free 15-minute meet-and-greet call is available.
