A family kennel in Hialeah

Wolff's Kennel Inc, K-9 Boarding & Training Center is a family owned and operated dog boarding and training center at 2530 West 2nd Avenue in Hialeah. Visitors are welcome to tour the facility, and Fidel takes calls personally at 305-885-3623.

Fidel Acosta's background

Fidel started caring for and training neighborhood dogs as a boy, and one of them belonged to a retired K-9 corps war dog training officer who became his training mentor. He worked as a veterinary assistant and then on veterinary tech duties before turning to dog training full time. In 1985 Wolff's Kennel expanded into training for families, dog sport competitors and law enforcement agencies. Fidel has served as a vendor and supplier to local, national and international law enforcement agencies working with K-9 police dogs, and travels to Europe to work with trainers there and to select working dogs.

Training

Dogs trained under Fidel's direction go to police and law enforcement agencies, search and rescue groups, personal protection owners and families. The center also offers dog boarding.
