About Work Dog Work

What they offer

Work Dog Work trains virtually anywhere and in person at the client's home or site, and is available to travel. Sessions cover obedience, behavioral issues such as on-leash reactivity, aggression, anxiety and destructiveness, service dogs, search and rescue, protection, and sport and competition, plus special topics classes. Its own VMP program trains one-command obedience while addressing the dog's overall behavior, energy and relationship needs, and teaches the owner to think and act like an expert handler. For behavior problems the trainer analyzes the cause and builds a training or management program with clear milestones and goals.

Community work

Through Project Rise, the business pairs residents of the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility with shelter dogs that learn working dog obedience to improve their chances of adoption.
