About Yellowstone Dog Sports

Dog sports near Red Lodge

Yellowstone Dog Sports is a dog sports center in Roberts, about 8 miles north of Red Lodge and 37 miles south of Laurel. It offers chances to learn and play with your dog in a beautiful mountain setting, and its training centers on competitive dog sports: obedience and agility. Group and private lessons for new students run from September through April.

Summer camps and events

The center hosts Dog Vacation Camps in the summer, with two camps planned for July and August 2026. Registration opens November 1 for previous campers and seminar participants and November 8 for everyone else. The camps have been featured in TIME, Fido Friendly and Modern Dog magazines. The property also works as a canine event facility for trials and other events, which are announced on its event page and through an email newsletter.

What to ask

Ask about class levels, lesson pricing and how a new student starts in obedience or agility, and about using the event center for your own event.
