How the courses run

The course pages describe private one-on-one sessions: puppy kindergarten is six 30-minute classes, one per week, with enrollment recommended from 8 weeks of age, and basic and off-leash obedience are each seven 30-minute classes. Group classes cover basic obedience, socialization and group walks. The severe behavior page covers habits such as chewing, biting and digging and rehabilitation of shy or rescued dogs, with the motto "Every dog can be trained. I never give up on dogs."

Protection work and background

The home alert course is described as a light security course and personal protection as an advanced security course. The home page says the center was founded by Matthias Zehfuss in 1988 and that he is an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator. Classes have limited availability, so call ahead.
