What they publish

One of the clearest program ladders on this page, with the difference between each format spelled out: a Puppy Novice Package; Operation: Loose Leash; 1 on 1 Lessons; Day Trains, where the dog trains by day and goes home every night; Hybrid, a board and train with the dog home at weekends; full Board and Train for the whole program; Pack Walks as group training; boarding; and AKC Canine Good Citizen testing. A pricing page is published, along with payment plans, and the consultation is free either in person or by phone.

Who runs it

The trainer is named on the site as LeSandro and described as a Tom Rose School Certified Master Dog Trainer, with the business stated as veteran-owned and serving Knoxville including Lenoir City, Loudon, Farragut, Oak Ridge and Sweetwater.

The argument they make

Their published reasoning for the format range is worth quoting, because it explains the Day Train and Hybrid options: LeSandro "started to notice a pattern of dogs that would go through a training program and listen great to trainers, but once the dog goes home, they would often revert back to their old ways. This is in no way the dog's fault, but rather, it is the owner not understanding how to uphold expectations, not knowing how to use training tools effectively, and not understanding their dog's thought patterns." The stated answer is "a high emphasis on training the owners to be their own dog trainer".

Who it suits

Owners wanting off-leash freedom, aggression work or confidence building who also want a say in how much time the dog spends away from home – and who want the price before the consultation.
