About Thunderhawk Canine LLC

ThunderHawk Canine is the longest-established training operation in this metro's records: its own site says "Since opening our doors in 2006, we have made some incredible relationships." The positioning line is "Bridging the gap between clinical science and functional obedience, to help you build dogs you LOVE to LIVE with!"

The programs they publish

The menu splits four ways: In-Board Training, day training at the academy together with private sessions, group classes for obedience and manners, and a second group-class stream for sports and fun. Seminars and workshops sit alongside those. They describe the span as "Offering programs ranging from basic obedience to problem behavior modification", and say of the boarding-style option that "In-Board Training allows us to be consistent for you."

Credentials and standing they claim

Two claims are specific enough to check on. The first is local: "In a 2024 survey, every veterinary clinic in Cookeville recommended THUNDERHAWK CANINE first". The second is on-site AKC evaluation – they describe "Onsite evaluators authorized to over see the AKC STAR Puppy, CGC, Tricks Titles". They also say all staff are certified in canine and feline first aid and CPR, with one member certified as an instructor, and describe instructor experience covering "basic manners, clinical behavior consultation, championship level sport titles, rescue rehab, law enforcement and more."

Other things worth knowing

They publish a discounted private-class arrangement for veterinary hospitals, grooming facilities and boarding kennels, run booking through ProPet software, and host a free pet-loss support group. Their training articles are bylined Christie Faccinto. Two other Cookeville businesses in this directory describe staff who trained at ThunderHawk first, which is a fair read of how central it is locally.
