About Suburban K9 Dog Training

Suburban K9's Raleigh territory works in the client's home rather than from a facility: "Suburban K9 Raleigh's dog training experts come to your home and provide Private Lessons and Board and Train Programs. We also offer virtual lessons." Its published service area is wide, covering Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Morrisville, New Hill and Raleigh among many others, and it offers an online quote as a way in.

The two main programs

In-home private lessons are described as "one on one access to our expert trainers in the comfort of your home. Lessons can be tailored to any training goal." The Board and Train Boot Camp is a residency in which "your dog will live with one of our expert trainers," and the logistics are part of the product: "We pick-up, drop-off and provide follow up training in your home." The business publishes a results guarantee on that program.

How it positions itself

Its argument against group classes is explicit – "We go above and beyond standard group training classes by customizing our training to both dog and owner. We believe that every dog is different and every owner has different goals" – and it publishes a training philosophy and something it calls a Lifestyle Adjustment Plan, plus practical guides including a come-command guide and an article on training a deaf dog.
