About Ridgeside K9 Tidewater

Ridgeside K9 Tidewater is the local branch of a national training brand, operating from "Ridgeside K9 Tidewater, 1596 Penniman Rd Unit C, Williamsburg, VA 23185". Its website is the location's own, not the brand hub, so what follows is what this branch publishes about itself.

The program

The training menu is listed twice on the site, in the navigation and again in the footer, and the two agree: "Board and Train | Boarding | Doggie Day Care | Puppy Training" and "TRAINING SERVICES – Board and Train / Puppy Training / Doggie Daycare / Boarding / Aggression Rehab". Board and train is plainly the core product, with boarding and daycare as the commercial sidelines that keep a facility busy between programs.

The range within it

The span claimed runs from the easy end to the hard end: "from puppy training, advanced obedience, aggression rehabilitation, and more" and "From puppy training to advanced off-leash training!" Aggression rehabilitation is named as a distinct service rather than buried in a behavior catch-all, which matters – most residential programs in this metro either decline bite-history dogs or stay silent about them.

Questions worth asking a branch of a franchise

Because the brand is national and the operation is local, the things that determine outcome are local: who the trainers at this location are, how long they have worked here, how many dogs are in the building at once, and what the daily routine looks like for a dog on a three or four week stay. Ask to see where the dogs sleep. Ask about prices, program lengths and certifications too.
