About Channeling Canines

Channeling Canines is a Saratoga Springs trainer whose whole premise is in the name: the site's instruction to owners is to "invest in the changes you want to see by channeling your dog's instincts into an appropriate outlet."

Four published services

In-person private training comes in 30, 45 and 60-minute packages. Structured walks are sold as a service in their own right rather than as dog-walking – the published purpose is maintaining training and adding enrichment, "whether you're prioritizing loose leash walking, long line explorations, recall, or increased engagement." Weekend workshops are group classes aimed squarely at the dog that is "perfect at home but not when you go outside," and are noted on the site as paused until spring 2026. Virtual sessions and guidance calls round it out.

Where sessions happen

The site is explicit that location is part of the plan, not a constraint: "each session is flexible in length, location, and focus. Whether at home, a park, or a local store, we help build real-life skills." That is a genuinely different shape from the in-home-only trainers elsewhere in this metro.

Who the trainer is

The site names Sophia Fronce and states that she graduated from a bachelor's degree program in Canine Training and Management, which it describes as the first and only one of its kind, that she is a science-based trainer using positive reinforcement, and that she prioritizes canine welfare alongside client goals. It also states she built the business's own client portal for scheduling, progress tracking and payment.

Rescue work

The site publishes rescue-dog work as a named service line and invites owners and volunteers to get involved, which is the clearest published rescue orientation among the city's trainers.
