About The Noble Beast Dog Training

The Noble Beast Dog Training is a 2,000 square foot climate-controlled training facility on Zimmerman Street in North Tonawanda, opened in 2023 by owner and head trainer Jessica Fritschi, a longtime North Tonawanda resident. It is the largest training operation in this part of Niagara County by staff count, running a team of six instructors rather than a single trainer.

Classes

The group program is built as a ladder rather than a menu. It starts at Puppy Pre-K, moves into House Dog Obedience levels, and adds Walk This Way, a class dedicated to loose-leash foundations, plus Canine Good Citizen classes and rotating specialty classes such as Cooperative Care for Groomer and Veterinary Visits and a Patio Dog class. The business states the levels are designed so each one builds on the last, so an owner always knows what comes next.

Dog sports

A separate Sport Dog track runs alongside the pet-manners ladder: agility and fitness classes, K9 Nose Work, and Happy Ratters, each following a progressive path, with a Sport Dog Loyalty Program for handlers taking more than one. The facility also hosts scent-work events, such as a Halloween-themed nose work challenge with a novice and an advanced course.

Personalized services

For owners who want one-to-one work, the business publishes in-person private lessons, virtual lessons, an In-Home Day Training Program in which a trainer works the dog in the owner's own home during the working day, and a Breeder Stay and Train program. It states that its Stay and Train is similar to board and train but without kenneling the dog overnight. All inquiries about problem behavior are routed to the private-lesson request form rather than into a group class.

The team

Jessica Fritschi holds a B.S. in Animal Behavior and an A.S. in Veterinary Technology, has been a New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician for over eighteen years, and lists CPDT-KA, Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and Certified Nose Work Instructor credentials. Three of her instructors also hold CPDT-KA certification, earned in 2016, 2023 and 2024; a fourth is certified through Animal Behavior College and holds a master's in education; a fifth is working toward CPDT-KA and volunteers in search and rescue with her German Shepherd.

Practical details

The facility is at 428 Zimmerman St, North Tonawanda, contactable at info@thenoblebeasttraining.com, with scheduling handled through an online booking page. The 2,000 sq ft space is also rented out to other handlers.
