What they do

The Westside site is where Pawtropolis runs its training. The class ladder starts with Puppy Preschool for 8-16 week olds and moves through Basic Manners, Beyond Basics and Behavior Solutions, with private lessons available at every level. Daycare, boarding, grooming and a self-service wash run alongside.

Method

The published class descriptions are specific about what is taught. Puppy Preschool covers loose leash walking, sit, down, roll over and recall, plus house and crate training, grooming, food, toys and biting, with supervised puppy playtime in the session. The Great Beginnings beginner course treats loose-leash training as the priority, builds impulse control into every exercise, teaches a settle-on-place command, and includes a private one-to-one walking session tailored to the individual dog. The class's three stated goals are to build manners, to create a strong human-dog bond and to use clear communication.

Classes are published with named instructors, start dates, prices and a kit list, and registration is taken in person or by phone at the Westside number.
