About Koda’s Canine Academy LLC

Who they are

Koda's Canine Academy is a dog-training business established in March 2024 with a Chickamauga, Georgia address. The site says trainers are available in Maine, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, so the Georgia presence is one arm of a multi-state operation rather than a single-location school. Its team is described as certified trainers.

How training is delivered

Three delivery formats are published: in person, virtual, and self-paced work supported by the academy's book and written resources. The site also runs a client chat forum and a video library that clients describe using for refreshers between sessions. Educational content is published free on Facebook, TikTok and YouTube for owners who cannot afford training.

Beyond pet training

Two things set this business apart from a straightforward local trainer. First, a rescue lane: the site offers training discounts to people who have adopted shelter dogs, hosts foster classes for shelter and rescue partners, and says it works alongside rescues on handling difficult dogs. Second, a trainer-education lane: the academy publishes courses for new and aspiring dog trainers, plus mentoring for established trainers navigating difficult clients, and says it will help a trainee start a business in their own location. A Find A Trainer page routes enquiries to individual trainers.
