About Teacher’s Paws
What they do
The Teacher's Paws describes itself across the top of its own site as "Daycare, Socialization, Boarding, Canine Obedience Training." On the training side, Donna Buie Beall is described as a Canine Obedience Trainer offering both group and private training; the site says she has years of experience training Shetland Sheepdogs for therapy dogs and to have "volunteered with and been certified through Therapy Dogs International from 2005 – 2016." Group class dates are announced on the site, and private training details sit under the Forms tab.
Day care and boarding
Day care runs $15 a day or $60 a week, with Saturday day-play at $25, and boarding is $27 a day for the first dog, with discounts for longer stays and multi-dog families. Check-in is 7:30am to 9:30am.
Before your first visit
Every new dog has to be registered with vaccine records and then complete a $25 new-dog evaluation – a full day in day care – before it can board or attend. They ask for at least 48 hours to process a new registration.
