What they do

Tactical K9 runs its own facility in Register and its menu covers both pet and working-dog work: basic and advanced obedience, personal protection, detection, and service and therapy dog preparation. Of the obedience course the site says, "Upon completion of this course, you will have total off-leash control of your dog."

Agency work

A separate TK9 Police track partners with law enforcement departments to "establish the level of dog needed and the level of training that will best fit the propose of your department" (their wording). Sessions are booked through the site, which also publishes a training contract, a boarding contract and a liability waiver.

Who runs it

Their About page lists Terry Adams Jr. as owner, instructor and head trainer, with Jon LeCroy as a trainer and two kennel techs. The business describes itself as "a Veteran owned and operated small business" that aims to "build a balanced, obedient, and social companion for the community."
