About Decatur Alabama Kennel Club

What they offer

The Decatur Alabama Kennel Club's home page lists beginner obedience and beginner rally classes and an early-morning master and excellent rally class, with a training request form on the site. It says all training, rally and obedience trials are held at the club's building on Mill Rd in Decatur, and that the club tries to schedule training in the AKC core disciplines of conformation, agility, rally and obedience.

About the club

The page says the club was organized in 1984 to bring dog fanciers together and promote education about dogs, is licensed by the AKC to hold conformation shows, obedience trials and agility trials, and completed its facility in 2003. Membership is open to anyone interested in dogs, and visitors are welcome at the monthly meetings. Class start dates change by session, so check the home page or ask through the training request form.
