About Clever Girl Dog Training

What they offer

Clever Girl Dog Training in Athens offers one-on-one personal pet training: the trainer meets you individually to evaluate your dog and plan how it fits into your life, from house manners to advanced obedience. The home page also offers canine cognition testing events of two or three days, which it recommends for competition, search-and-rescue and other working dogs, and search-and-rescue workshops for handlers or teams, including area and human-remains detection work.

Background

The home page names Darcy as the trainer and says she has been working and training dogs for over 30 years, has trained and titled dogs in obedience, agility, tracking and nosework, has been a search-and-rescue handler for many years, and taught puppy to advanced obedience classes at a former Huntsville training center. It says she is a certified canine cognition instructor through FordK9 and describes her approach as building the bond in the most positive way possible.
