About Lizzy’s Luxury Lodge and Daycare

What they offer

Lizzy's Luxury Lodge and Daycare is a pet resort in Hernando offering boarding, daycare, grooming and training. Its training runs under the name The Dog School at Lizzy's, which the home page describes as personalized dog training programs, from basic training to advanced skills.

How the training works

The home page says the Dog School's programs take place in a supportive setting, complete with daily sessions, playtime and positive reinforcement. The Pricing page adds that the middle tier of its membership club includes access to a monthly training workshop or group class. New dogs must attend a meet and greet before using the facility, which the site describes as an assessment of energy level, temperament and sociability, and it lists options such as enrichment for dogs that are not social.

The facility

The About page names Kyle Jones and Ruth Ritchie as founders and says the lodge sits one mile south of Hernando's town square, beside a city dog park, skate park and walking trails. The site says it serves North Mississippi, including Hernando, Southaven, Olive Branch and Horn Lake.
