About Robinson Dogworks

Board and train in Cabot

Robinson Dogworks is a board and train program in Cabot, founded by trainer Aaron Robinson. Aaron is a Louisiana native and a chemical engineer who fell in love with dog training after adopting his dog, Aspen. He learned from online resources and local group classes before being accepted into the American Standard Academy Prep program, and he lists himself as an ASK9 Academy Prep graduate and a current ASK9 Academy student.

What dogs learn

Obedience training covers sit, down, heel, stay, recall, place, kennel and finish. Manners work targets jumping, leash pulling, shooting through doorways, barking and puppy biting, and dogs can earn off-leash freedom where allowed. Owner coaching teaches you how to maintain high levels of obedience at home.

Method

The program is balanced: dogs learn commands with food and other positive methods before leash and e-collar work is layered on for reliability. Each program is customized to the dog and to the owner's priorities, for dogs of all breeds and ages. Training videos are posted on Facebook.
