About Fully Loaded K9 Academy

A veteran's academy

Fully Loaded K9 Academy was founded in December 2020 by Keith, a U.S. Army veteran who says a dog changed his life more than anything after his time in uniform. He started the academy in the Cabot / Jacksonville area with a simple mission: help dogs become the best versions of themselves, and help people feel whole in the process. What began as one veteran training a few dogs in a backyard has grown into a training academy serving families, pet owners and veterans.

Programs

The academy offers board-and-train programs, private one-on-one sessions, group obedience classes, and service-dog training for veterans and individuals with qualifying needs. It also runs a Veteran Service Dog Program and AKC training, and posts a class schedule for online booking.

Approach

Keith describes tailoring every program to the individual dog and family, with no shock-and-awe tactics or harsh methods. The philosophy is "relationship first, obedience second", built on clarity, communication, structure and trust. The academy says it is building a new training facility designed to reduce stress and increase learning.
