About Leashes and Lashes

Training that looks for the root cause

Leashes and Lashes pairs boarding and grooming with a training program that aims to go beyond quick fixes. The team says it addresses the root causes of behavior issues using proven methods grounded in behavior and animal psychology, rather than masking symptoms like reactivity. It describes its training as positive and science-based, with respect for a dog's emotional well-being, and it advertises award winning care since 2022.

Training options

Group classes teach socialization and essential obedience for dogs of all ages and skill levels. Boot Camp is an add-on to group classes: if you cannot commit to the recommended 30 minutes of daily homework, you can drop your dog off 3 days a week and the trainers reinforce the class skills. Private lessons offer one-on-one work on anxiety, aggression and other challenges, and the board and train program keeps your dog on site for intensive, hands-on training.
