About Paws Mahal, LLC

Training built around structure

Paws Mahal is a daycare, boarding and training center in Sherwood. Its training philosophy starts from the idea that many unwanted behaviors, such as barking, pottying inside, jumping and even aggression, can stem from too little physical or mental exercise. The team describes a systematic regimen that exercises a dog's body and mind, and a daily rotation of group or solo play, private one-on-one training sessions and quiet time to decompress.

Programs

Daycare & Train lets a dog attend daycare while getting one-on-one sessions focused on leash work, obedience or potty training. Board & Train keeps a dog overnight while trainers work on anxious or aggressive behavior, and at least two weeks are recommended. K-9 Kindergarten is a 10 day package for puppies between 3-6 months that covers potty training, polite greetings, an intro to leash training, crate training, socialization and safe pack play, with short daily homework for owners. There is also an overnight potty training program and private consultations with the founder, a veteran trainer who works with owners to understand the cause of problem behavior.

What owners say

One client wrote that after a board and train stay her dog is "so much calmer".
