About Barb’s Dog Obedience
One-on-one obedience near Burlington
Barb's Dog Obedience, billed as "and human obedience," is located at 12378 Hwy 61 N, north of Burlington, Iowa, on a 40 acre ranch. Barb DeAngelis has been training dogs, and their owners, for over 30 years, and lessons are by appointment.
How lessons work
The program focuses on teaching basic commands to both dog and owner. Owner and dog meet with Barb once a week for 4 weeks, and all classes are based on "command and praise." Lessons are strictly one on one with the dog, the owner and one of Barb's own dogs, to promote socialization between dogs.
Problems addressed
Barb works on jumping, barking, biting and potty training, along with any other questions owners bring.
What to ask
