Go Anywhere Dog is a locally woman-owned puppy and dog training school in Eden Prairie, serving Minneapolis and nearby suburbs with off-leash classes at the school and personal help in the home. It was founded by Jody Karow, CTC, who earned her Certificate in Training and Counseling from The Academy for Dog Trainers, and its Certified Dog Life Coaches each bring more than 20 years of experience.

The approach

Go Anywhere Dog calls its method Boundaries Without Trauma (its trademarked name): safety before obedience, kindness with clear boundaries, and practice for everyday life. It rewards what owners want to grow and teaches expectations patiently and kindly.

Classes and private help

Puppy classes start with puppies under 16 weeks and cover social experiences, puppy play and first life skills. Adolescent classes, for dogs from 16 weeks to 1 year, begin with Life Skills 101 and focus on manners and learning around other dogs. In-home puppy training covers potty routines, play biting and settling, and private behavior help addresses barking, fear, reactivity and guarding. Ultimate Puppy Packages pair group classes with 10 or 20 private sessions, and class support includes homework videos and recaps.
