Sit Pretty K9 is a dog training and outings business in Eden Prairie run by Erica, whose motto is "Calm. Clear. Connected." Her view is that disobedience and behavior issues are signals that a dog's needs are going unmet, so the work focuses on movement, exploration, engagement and purpose, and on helping people give clear signals and structure in everyday life. Training happens in real environments with real routines.

Training

Puppy Foundations sessions cover puppy development, engagement through structure and play, early leash skills and handling, and teaching rest, boundaries and regulation. Communication and Obedience Mentoring is built around meeting owners where they are, aiming for cooperation, a clearer read on body language and tools that work outside sessions. Focused Skill Sessions target leash pulling, calm greetings, settling at home, focus around distractions, reactivity patterns and household boundaries. Sessions may include marker use and timing and reinforcing neutral, settled behavior.

Adventure Outings

Structured outings give dogs movement, exploration and engagement so they come home more settled and responsive.
