About Paw & Order Dog Training Twin Cities
In-home training across the Twin Cities
Paw & Order Twin Cities is an independently owned location of the Paw & Order Dog Training brand, serving Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Owner John Rossakis founded it in 2023. He earned his Certified Dog Trainer title from CATCH Canine Academy in 2015, interned at the Animal Humane Society in St. Paul and later worked there part-time leading classes and in-home training. He draws on his occupational therapy background to create inclusive training for people of all abilities, specializing in family dogs.
How they train
Paw & Order follows the LIMA model (Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive): it starts with positive reinforcement such as food, praise and toys, and introduces consequences only after the dog understands the desired behavior. Trainers are skilled in multiple methods, including e-collars when appropriate, and every program starts with an evaluation.
Programs
The Twin Cities location offers in-home training, virtual training, a hybrid of both, AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, and Adventures outings included with most programs.
