About Pals and Paws Academy

Overview

Pals and Paws Academy L.L.C. serves Lafayette, Indiana and surrounding areas, with the tagline "Better Manners for Your Best Friend!" The business is led by owner and lead trainer Amanda Chamberlain, who earned her Certified Pet Dog Trainer certification in 2012, with associate trainer Jennifer Hartman, who joined in 2017. Both hold CPDT-KA credentials.

Method

Instruction incorporates clicker training, and advanced classes follow APDT's Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.) curriculum.

Services

Offerings include Puppy Kindergarten, a rotating four-week course for puppies ages 10-20 weeks; Canine Elementary classes; Advanced Group Classes; and private in-home coaching tailored to a dog and owner's specific needs. Remote and distance-learning options are also available.
