About MOC K9 Training

What they offer

MOC K-9 Training (Making Outstanding Canines) is a Castle Rock training service owned and operated by military veteran Adam Deaver. The site says training takes place at its training facility and covers dogs of any breed or size, from puppy development to aggression modification.

Programs

Obedience training runs from puppy development and entry-level obedience to advanced work. One-on-one sessions follow a train-the-trainer model that teaches the owner how to train the dog. Board and train programs run from three to ten weeks with daily hands-on training, and every board and train client gets a private session afterward. Behavior modification covers everything from jumping to serious aggression. The team also trains detection and nose work, from professional K9 teams to owners who want scent games or NACSW competition, and personal protection dogs.

Pricing and extras

The site publishes its prices: a consultation, single sessions and packages of seven or ten sessions, board and train by the week, a vet visit training session plus travel, and daycare and boarding by the day. It also hosts training seminars.

About the trainer

Adam Deaver served in the Marine Corps before training dogs professionally. The site says he completed NePoPo Silver School in November 2021 and Gold School in April 2022, has trained law enforcement and private detection K9 teams, and competes and judges in AKC and NACSW scent work.
