About The Wise Dog Co.

What they offer

The Wise Dog Co. is a Castle Rock dog training business offering customizable private lessons and full-day training programs, with e-collar and Halo GPS collar training. Its pages also cover puppy, potty and crate training.

Programs

The private lessons program uses a set of core skills as a gateway to a calmer state of mind: loose-leash walking, staying in one spot until released, sitting at doorways and curbs, releasing a ball or food on command, and reliable recall for hiking and off-leash adventures. The day-training program runs four sessions: communication using leash and body pressure, the place command, the calm walk, and a final customized session in a real setting such as a crowded patio, a hike or a dog-friendly store. The site says programs are priced after an assessment at the consultation and range from $850 to $4,500.

Getting started

New clients can book a free virtual consultation or a free in-home consultation. The site describes the approach as great leadership: clear instruction, constructive feedback, consistency and lots of practice.
