Four Legged Scholars LLC is a Salt Lake City dog training business run by owner and trainer Johanna Teresi, at 4050 S 2700 E. Training is delivered as private, live one-on-one coaching over Zoom, so owners can work with the trainers from anywhere. Johanna began training in dog 4-H in elementary school and went on to train exotic animals such as parrots, raptors and mammals at zoos, including the Utah Hogle Zoo. All courses use loving methods and clicker training, a reward-based approach.

Programs

Private online programs include The Dependable House Dog (jumping, mouthing, potty issues and listening in the house), The Well Mannered Leash Walking Dog, and The Outdoor Dream Dog for listening at home, on leash and off leash. Each can be customized for behavior problems such as barking, aggression, fear, separation anxiety and resource guarding. There are also puppy, adult and behavioral private training options, a live online puppy group course, and a recorded Loose Leash Walking Webinar for $39.
