About Dog Sports America

What they offer

Dog Sports America provides dog sports training and foundation work from a fully matted, temperature-controlled facility in Carson City, and runs events across North America. Training covers agility, barn hunt, nosework, flyball, rally and obedience, with AKC Canine Good Citizen and trick dog work and seminars and workshops on the calendar. The facility also hosts barn hunt and nosework trials and can be rented for classes or events.

About the owner

Owner John Fisher competes, judges and teaches across the United States and Canada. The site lists him as an AKC Scent Work judge and a supervising Rat Games judge, with past judging roles in barn hunt, scent sports, flyball and dock diving, and says dogs he trained have medaled at Barn Hunt Association national events.
