About Rheas K9
Trust-based training in Portland
Rhea's K9 is a Portland training business founded in 2024 by Natalie Rhea, a registered AKC CGC Evaluator who is GoodPup Certified. Her approach is trust-based, compassionate and practical, using positive reinforcement and strategies built around each dog and home. She draws on experience as a foster mom and former rescue team member, and her own dogs hold AKC titles and do therapy work, tracking, Fast CAT and Barn Hunt.
Services
The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is a six-week course for puppies under a year old, covering manners, socialization and relationship-building. Private one-on-one sessions come singly or as packages, including for multi-dog households. Natalie offers in-person CGC, CGCA and CGCU testing with optional prep sessions, AKC Virtual Home Manners and Trick Dog titles virtually or in person, and help with AKC paperwork. The Connected Canine Care package blends modern training with intuitive animal communication and energetic healing.
What owners say
One client with an anxious, reactive chihuahua mix wrote that "after only our first session with Natalie, our walks have become so much easier!"
