About Good Behaviors K9 Training

What they offer

Good Behaviors K9 Training is a dog training business in north Spokane run by John Bafaro, who lists himself on the site as an ABC certified dog trainer. Services are dog training, behavior consulting and, on a limited basis, boarding.

How he trains

He describes himself as a balanced trainer who uses positive techniques as much as possible and mild corrections only when necessary. Dogs are trained to work for praise, so treats play a small role, and training is treated as a lifelong process rather than a one-time event. The site stresses the relationship between dog and owner as the foundation of good behavior, with the trainer helping both learn their roles and the owner become a calm leader.
