About Brush Up Training
What they offer
Brush Up Training teaches from the Francis Avenue Community Center in north Spokane. Traditional classes suit new puppy owners, families with a newly rescued dog, owners facing behavior challenges and dogs ready to go further, including preparation for the Canine Good Citizen award. Puppy Start Right is a four-week socialization class for puppies seven to fourteen weeks old that follows the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior guidance on early socialization.
More classes and private help
Fun and Games classes include Pooch Parkour, Skills Games and Brain Games for dogs that have the basics and need a new challenge. Problem-solving classes and workshops, some just an hour long, target specific issues such as fearfulness, leash pulling, preparing a dog for a new baby, greeting guests and house training. Private sessions are offered for challenges that need personal attention, such as resource guarding, fear-based issues, dog reactivity, aggression or a disability, and even for other kinds of pets, with late-evening times available.
About the trainer
