About Barks and Recreation

What they offer

Barks and Recreation is a dog training business on NE 13th Court in Vancouver built on teamwork, trust and clear communication between dogs and people, with fun as the most important part. Each behavior is broken into small, easy steps so dog and owner make steady progress.

Services

Private training sessions come with progress notes and at-home exercises after every session, with multi-session packages available. Day training works with the dog while the owner is away, and pairs well with private sessions so owners can keep up with what the dog has learned. Pack walks are open to teams that have done private or day training.

Approach

Training uses balanced methods based heavily on reward. Custom dog gear is also sold.
