About A Canine Understanding

What they offer

A Canine Understanding is a Vancouver dog care and training business run by Mindy Bray, a training and behavioral specialist. Its focus is calm, skilled handling across grooming, behavior support and real-world training.

Training

Private training and evaluations give individualized attention and customized plans for specific challenges, including leash reactivity, basic to advanced obedience, confidence building, anxiety, aggression and fear. The board and train program is an immersive option in which the dog stays for focused behavior work.

Grooming

Low-stress grooming uses a Fear Free approach with one-on-one attention in a calm environment, which suits nervous dogs. Call or text to book.
